Darkman (1990) IMDB rating: 6.30 Plot: Scientist Peyton Westlake is working on a project to create synthetic skin. Now the skin he has developed has a flaw—it will not remain stable for more than 99 minutes. His girlfriend, Julie, a lawyer is investigating a developer. She leaves some incriminating documents at Peyton’s. One night Peyton was working when the lights in his lab went out, he then discovers that the synthetic skin has remained stable past 99 minutes, he deduces that it’s because of light that the skin doesn’t remain stable. And it is at that moment that a psychotic criminal, Robert Durant appears demanding the documents that Julie left there. They beat up Peyton, and after finding the documents they blow up Peyton’s lab. Peyton was blown away and everybody believes he is dead but in reality, he was found, burned seriously and a new procedure was performed on him that renders him unable to sense pain, he also now has tremendous strength and is now prone to violent outbursts. He is now working on perfecting the synthetic skin and at the same using his technology to make synthetic skin masks of the men who attacked him so that he could strike back at them.

My question is that if you had to rank the Top 10 quarterbacks who have played anywhere between 1988-2009, who do you take and what order?

1) Dan Marino – Great guy, many consider him a "numbers guy" and not a winner, but give him a Jerry Rice, Michael Irvin, or Randy Moss and who knows, maybe he would’ve had atleast one Ring and even crazier stats.

2) Joe Montana – I know his career was winding down a bit during this era, but he was still a winner, plain and simple.

3) Brett Favre – Talk about a guy that should have an award named after him. All those consecutive starts, many Pro Bowl seasons, the guy who revived the Green Bay organization. A winner and an iron-man.

4) John Elway – A guy who led his franchise to a bunch of SB’s but didn’t win any until he was on his way out of the league where he won back to back SB’s. Surely, Mr. Clutch.

5) Tom Brady – Another winner. A guy that won his 3 Super Bowl rings without a star WR or RB. A truly smart QB that was clutch when it counted. When he finally had a Pro Bowl Offensive Line and Moss, the guy scortched the league setting the season TD Record and leading the team to 18-0 before losing in the SB in 2007.

6) Peyton Manning – A student of the game with all of the NFL QB pedigree in the world. A coach on the field if there ever was one.

7) Troy Aikman – Another guy who got 3 SB rings in his career. Sure he was on "America’s Team" who had all the talent in the world, but he was still the signal caller of that team and that means something.

Jim Kelly – Led his team to 4 straight SB’s, even though they didn’t win any of them. Master of the hurry up offense and the shotgun formation.

9) Steve Young – Got his SB ring with the 49ers and Jerry Rice. Had a lot of talent, a QB who was a threat to run the ball on you if you weren’t ready for it. Completed a pass to himself.

10) Kurt Warner – Has been to 3 SB’s and won one with the "Greatest Show On Turf". Many label him as being overrated because every SB he went to was with a powerful offense. He still had to be the signal caller for those offenses.

Then, as much as I hate them, the Cowboys’ Dynasty of the ’90s emerged…and a guy named Favre started making the Packers good…

Pretty much hit the nail on the head, can’t really argue with any of your selection or think or anybody missing. I’d probably put Peyton higher, at least higher than Elway or Favre since I think he’s about as consistent, mistake free and prototypical a QB not named Dan Marino as they come.
